Transitional Grey

This former caterer and active cook to her family of five needed a larger space for her kitchen as well as a more direct flow to her family room. The solution? Relocate her kitchen to her dining room and add a doorway, pantry and bar area to her current kitchen area. Light grey perimeter cabinets keep the room light, while a dark stained maple island grounds the center of the space with seating. A custom end-grain walnut wood butcher block top with knife inserts adds utility and a warm texture to the space.
